Speaking Topics

My passion is to present powerful messages that engage the heart and captivate the mind as biblical truths are made relevant to our lives today-challenging and motivating people to be devoted followers of Christ, fulfilling His divine purpose for their lives.  With a background in education, I have been able to use my teaching gift to minister at seminars, retreats, conferences, and church services.  Below are some of the inspiring messages I can share with your group.  However, I can  also share a message on a theme provided by you or your planning team.  For more information or to reserve a date for your event, just fill out the form at the end of this page.

Does God Have A Good Plan For My Life

This message addresses those times in our lives when we question the “good” in God’s plan for our lives, when what we are going through does not feel good. What do we do with those questions for which we don’t have an answer? What do you do when you fast and pray for a miracle, yet there is no miracle and all you are left with is “why, God?”

More Like Jesus

God desires that we, who are His adopted ones, become more like Jesus, who only begotten Son. He desires that we bear the “fruit” of His character when it is “in season” (life is going great) but also when it is “out of season” (when things are not going so great!) The focus of this message is on how we can bear the “out-of-season” fruit of Christ’s character!

I’ve Got Your Back

When life hits you with unexpected challenges or heartbreak, our human inclination is to question God’s faithfulness.  Does He really have my back when it seems like so many things in my life are being turned upside down?  This presentation looks at the life of Naomi to demonstrate how God always has our back; it’s just that we aren’t always able to “see” it at the time.

An Amazing Race

God has marked out for us an amazing race to run.  But how do we run this race, fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives?  How do we finish strong?  This presentation focuses on lessons we can learn from Jesus who “pressed on” to finish the race the Father set before him.

I Am Who You Say I Am

Sometime it is difficult for us to see the “who” God has called us to be – to believe that He has a divine purpose and call for our lives.  This presentation addresses roadblocks that often hinder us from believing that He has a “mighty” purpose for our lives.

 What’s Your Story?

One day we will stand before the Lord and “books” will be opened and the story of our life will be read.  Thankfully the One who will one day read that story is also the One who can edit our story now.  This presentation explores how Jesus is the great Editor of our lives.

 What’s Song Do You Sing?

When we face difficulties and challenges in life, we can sing a song of complaint or we can sing a song of deliverance.  This presentation shares the importance of singing the right song―to remember what God has done in the past as you face the challenges of today. We examine the power of a spiritual legacy ―whether it is one we draw from or one we start.

 Moved By Compassion

We can feel compassion for a person, but Jesus wants us to be moved to action with acts of mercy. But remember, an act of mercy requires sacrifice. Are we will to make that sacrifice? To listen to the message, click on:

ENDORSEMENTS

Joy Gruits shared during the luncheon of CMI Global’s 46th Annual Convention, RESURGENCE, in Auburn, Indiana. She is an articulate speaker and wonderful story teller. She was very sensitive to our audience and held our attention throughout her ministry. Joy has the ability to connect with her audience and zero in on everyone’s need as a corporate body. When she finished I did not want her to stop. You too will be glad you invited Joy Gruits to speak to your assembly.

My church invited Joy to speak at our women’s conference. It was one of the very best conferences we ever had, largely due to Joy allowing the Holy Spirit to flow through her. The theme was “The Apple of My Eye.” Every woman who attended was ministered to through her words and teaching from Psalm 17:8, “Keep me as the apple of the eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings.”
